Montel Dorsey’s MUniversity Records Expands Roster Of Artists
LaBrock, Corey V & Fragrance, Aimee Clute, Tenishia Toussaint, Jason Hendrickson and Trevone Perry added to the Montel Dorsey’s Thriving and Diverse Indie Record Label
Montel Dorsey is Pastor, recording artist, music producer and rising music executive. His new MUniversity Records label, a family partnership with co-owner Lady Darcia Pickett, is developing artists that are Kingdom driven and musically matchless. Montel released his LOVE OVER HATE album in March of this year that featured Ruth La’Ontra, Farrin Sherelle and rapper Janoir on the high energy Urban Gospel track “Celebrate”, and now Montel is growing his label and is introducing a powerful lineup of artists he is set to release over the next year.
The budding MUniversity Records roster of artist includes an eclectic mix of Traditional Gospel, Contemporary Worship, Contemporary Christian and Urban Inspirational artists who dynamically represent each style in an authentic manner. Montel is proud to introduce and announce LaBrock, Corey V & Fragrance, Dr. Aimee Clute, Tenishia Toussaint, Jason Hendrickson and Trevone Perry as the new additions to his indie label.
LaBrock is a young and gifted singer and lyrical poet who is one of MUniversity Record’s first signees. Her urban contemporary dance track “Everybody” is available on iTunes now. Montel collaborates with LaBrock on “Everybody” to inspire uninhibited praise through dance.
Corey V & Fragrance are anointed voices methodically infiltrating the nations with a Kingdom sound. Front man Corey Thompson, Sr. Pastor of Power Center International in Atlanta, GA, and his singers share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through lyrics and melodies crafted in excellence. Corey V & Fragrance will release their single “Psalms 150” on September 8. “Psalms 150” is an exuberant praise song laced in Caribbean flavors that ignite the soul sparking personal worship.
Dr. Aimee Clute has been in ministry for 35 years. Aimee’s complete desire is to encourage people and remind them that God is real and will do what He has promised through praise and worship. Aimee is preparing for her album REVOLUTION coming in October and will release it during her “Changing of the Seasons” Women’s Retreat and Conference October 18-20 in Pigeon Forge, TN with guest Wess Morgan, Dr. Cindy Trimm and Apostle Thomas Clute.
Louisiana native Tenishia Toussaint is known for her incredible vocal range and mesmerizing delivery and stage presence. Tenishia has established herself as a dynamic singer both in the US and internationally. She is currently Praise and Worship leader at True Visions Global Christian Ministry in Atlanta, GA and will release new music in 2018.
Jason Hendrickson is one of the most exciting and powerful gifts in the kingdom. Jason is Senior Pastor of Restoration Tabernacle in Brooklyn, NY and is a recording artist, poignant songwriter, skilled music producer and published author. Jason will release all new music in 2018. His new single “We Make Room For You” is available now on all digital music outlets.
Trevone Perry is a New York based singer and songwriter who leads his group of anointed voices called Divine Purpose. These young singers combine urban contemporary worship and churchy praise to create a spiritual force and sound of generation next.
Montel, who is the Pastor of Soul Winners Global Church and has been consecrated presiding prelate for Soul Winners Global Church Fellowship, is working diligently to expand his label and to assist artists with the evolution of their music careers and their ministries. He is also back in the studio working on a new project for 2018 and is leading off with a new single “Holiness” which features singer Isaiah D. Thomas. “Holiness” will release October 6 with exclusive distribution via eOne (Entertainment One).
