The cinematic production entitled ‘The Burial’ was initially presented in select theaters on October 6th. The film boasts a cast of prominent actors, including two Academy Award winners, Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones, and Jurnee Smollett, a highly acclaimed actress. ‘The Burial’s available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, October 13th.

The film’s plot revolves around Jeremiah O’Keefe, portrayed by Tommy Lee Jones, who seeks the legal assistance of Willie E. Gary, a suave and persuasive attorney portrayed by Jamie Foxx. O’Keefe is bound after a previously agreed-upon business agreement goes awry. Together, the unlikely duo sets out to expose corporate corruption and racial injustice. The narrative is based on actual events, and despite the serious theme, the movie features moments of levity.

‘The Burial’ highlights the challenges small business owners face due to their lack of knowledge of entrepreneurial pursuits, which often leads to exploitation. The theme is explored in-depth and brings to light the indifference often experienced by small business owners.

Based on my assessment, I rate ‘The Burial’ as a 6 out of 10.
