Pastor, singer, songwriter, producer, and author Jason Hendrickson affectionately called J. Hen, releases brand new single “Because You’re Great,” the perfect reminder of our Savior’s personage, who is great for so many reasons, most of all because He first loved for us. 

Released April 19, “Because You’re Great” commemorates and salutes Hendrickson’s Pentecostal Heritage offering a sonically rich Sunday morning worship experience just in time for Ressurection Day, and soon coming Day of Pentecost, to remind listeners of the greatness of our God.

Written and produced by J. Hen, “Because You’re Great” reintroduces a sound that’s seemingly fading away from newer generations. “I gathered some of NYC’s youngest bulls (musicians),” Hendrickson shares. “And Because You’re Great” was birthed, as a salute to my musical heritage. Every now an then we have to reflect back on the music that shaped us.”

The rousing track is definitely one that choirs can sing throughout time paying tribute to beloved  Pentecostal staples like 869 Halsey Street, Brooklyn, NY.
